Fall Color
Fall is my favorite time of year. Reds, oranges, and yellows are among my favorite colors. A pretty red leaf on a pealing birch tree couldn't get any better at expressing what fall means to me; macro style!
Spring Baby Pine Cones
Spring is an awesome time to photograph new birth in nature. This is an established pine tree but the new growth was glowing in the golden light and I couldn't resist the photo.
Green Leaves
This photo was taken on a natural trail during the day. The forest canopy shelter the foliage so I could use a narrow aperture and a Luma Cube to create my own light for this photo.
Frozen in Time
I photographed this leaf at the beginning of winter when the rain was freezing on the trees and leaves. Later I added a textured background to eliminate the distractions in the woodland background.
Yellow Leaves
There are many ways to creatively camouflage the chaos in a woodland setting this is just one example. I applied a Topaz Studio 2 Impressions preset together with a color theme soft light application.
