This photo is the first in a series of three automobile abstract photos. This photo was created from a rusty 1950s Hudson car. This photograph is a found still life with a yellow leaf that I feel completes the story of time passing.

Time Passing

This photo is the second in a series of automobile abstracts. I believe one can find beauty in all things in life. From this rusty old car, a broken leaf off a tree, combined with the weathered and rusted chrome trim. My image is a found still life that shows beauty through objects and artistically portrays them in a minimalistic style.

Automobile Abstract

This photograph is the third in my abstract automobile photo series. To find an abstract photograph, I found yet another area on this early 1950s Hudson car. The sun was perfect, high in the sky, shining inside the vehicle, and I noticed an unusual object in the light as I walked by. The door lock button reminded me, for a second, of the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 series of the guy watching a movie with his robot, the light reflecting off the remaining parts of the interior back seats further captured my attention. Weathered Beauty

This photograph is of a digitally manipulated section of a very weathered automobile left for rust. I found a small corner by the rear window that spoke of an uncanny beauty in the mundane.

Thrashing Machine

This metal object is a photograph of yet another find I found in a resting place for things past their prime - a junkyard. A thrashing machine still has value and interest to me as a photographer. I love the machine's simplicity; the simple lines and the old leaf, dust, and debris complete the story of time passing.
