Pink Carnation

Spring and flowers seem to go hand and hand together. In this image, I used the Lensbaby Velvet 56 macro lens. I love how it delivers gorgeous soft-focus so effortlessly. I set the aperture at f/11 and used an 8-second shutter and ISO 320. The light was from a north-facing afternoon window, and I also handheld a Luma Cube to eliminate any shadows.
